As they left, Barthomeloi would be 'alone' in her lounge, let out a soft sight. But, in truth, she wasn't alone during that moment with Chaldea. Soon enough, her servat materialized behind her, wearing a helm that covered their face. Their base height was shorter thant Lorelei but their presence seemed to be equal or so. They held a Holy Sword and wore the suit of a knight. They'd then ask the Queen of the Clocktower.
"Is it alright, to deny the Protectors of humanity, of their assistance?"
Barthomeloi, simply relaxed in her seat and crossed her legs perfectly.
"They could not offer me what I want, in exchange of what they need. Mages rely on the rules of equivalent exchange. They could not offer me such equivalence."
The 'Saber' continued their inquiry.
"The Beast is gone. I am now a mere Servant under your services. But my sword is meant to protect Humanity."
In this statement, Barthomeloi chuckled.
"Ahaha, do you intend to betray me then, Saber?"
"No. I am simply asking, for the sake of my duty as your Servant, and as the one that holds the title of Grand. Are you an enemy of humanity?"
They'd ask this question with a soft pressure, and an ample curiousity of their statement.
"I am a Mage, the Queen of Mages, and the Supreme Mage. Before humanity, I am a Mage for and foremost and I intend to do everything in my power to accomplish the heights of Magecraft. Once I've reached it, I will be free to grant you your wishes, Grand Saber. So for now, assist me in this endeavor. Does this answer, satisfy you?"
Barthomeloi transferred the pressure to the servant. Whom would then reply.
"To sacrifice this timeline, for the sake of another. If it could save humanity in that way, very well. I will continue to be your Sword."
"Good. Then, we shall begin once I've recovered the Izerbachs family crest."
And there, Barthomeloi, smiled in mischeif and satisfaction.
